Service Description

Miniature painting is a massively popular hobby for all ages! These tiny figures are oh so satisfying to display or incorporate into your tabletop gaming. Book an experienced painter to walk your group through some of the basic techniques of the medium! This includes a private booking of the Sandbox outside regular hours (you'll have the whole place to yourself!) Minimum charge of $300 for up to 10 painters, $30 for each additional painter. Booking includes: - 1 figure to paint and take home (standard playing size, WizKids) - all paints and tools provided at no additional cost for the booking - 1 complementary pop per painter (bottomless, does not include alcohol) - 1 complementary PLAY Subscription for the Sandbox, entitling 1 person to unlimited board game play for a full month, free entry to weekly D&D Drop-in, retail discounts and all other subscription perks - 1 complementary pot of paint to take home - 2 hours of private access to the Sandbox including a dedicated instructor and bartender/server Please review the following information before you book: - Let us know in the booking form whether you prefer to let painters choose a figure to paint at the event (subject to availability) or would rather choose in advance. - We welcome parties of all ages! Please specify whether the group are kids, teens or adults on the booking form - Once you book and submit the booking form, we will match you with an instructor. Your booking is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation email from the Sandbox. - Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by a responsible adult. While our instructors are friendly and very comfortable with children, we are not trained or certified to provide childcare. Parents are welcome to join the painting or socialize in the Sandbox over a drink! - You are welcome to bring in a cake or other dessert for your party. All other food and beverage can be purchased from the Sandbox on site. - You are welcome to bring in simple decorations for your special event. - If you would like to book for more than 16 painters, please email gamemaster@sandboxcafe.ca
