Service Description

Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop role playing game where players work collaboratively to navigate fantasy scenarios. There is no "winning" D&D, only adventure, fellowship, epic battles, puzzles, moral dilemmas and a whole lot of fun! Book one of the Sandbox's professional Dungeon Masters (DM) to lead your group through a private game outside regular operating hours - that means you get the entire Sandbox space to yourself! Minimum charge of $300 for up to 5 players, $20 for each additional player (maximum 8 players before needing to book a second DM). Booking includes: - 1 complementary drink per player (pop or alcohol) - 1 complementary PLAY Subscription for the Sandbox, entitling 1 person to unlimited board game play for a full month, free entry to weekly D&D Drop-in, retail discounts and all other subscription perks - 1 complementary set of Chessex dice (7pcs) - 4 hours of private access to the Sandbox including a dedicated DM and bartender/server Please review the following information before you book: - We welcome parties of all ages! Please note that children's groups are harder to DM and require at least 3 weeks lead time to ensure a suitable DM is available. - All other games require at least 2 weeks lead time. - Once you book and submit the booking form, we will match you with a suitable DM. Your booking is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation email from the Sandbox. - If your party are under the age of 14 or new to D&D, we will be running a beginner-friendly game for you with characters starting at level 1. Your booking will include time to create characters at the start of the session and explain the rules of the game. - Experienced players are welcome to request a higher-level game in the booking form. In this case, you must pre-prepare your characters and be ready to start playing with them without additional support from your DM. - You are welcome to bring in a cake or other dessert for your party. All other food and beverage can be purchased from the Sandbox on site. - You are welcome to bring in simple decorations for your special event. - If you would like to book for more than 12 players, please email gamemaster@sandboxcafe.ca
